When Brains and Computers Connect
Просмотров 371Месяц назад
March's topic focused on brain-computer interfaces. Brain-computer interfaces might be implanted or external and can read signals, translate them, or both. They offer real promise in treating and diagnosing neurological disorders or in converting thought to speech. But they also have raised ethical concerns, and so can be a contentious topic. As these intriguing interfaces enter clinical testin...

The brain and body response by releasing Dopamine throughout the brain. That is why most people who uses drugs get high. Now if drugs are consumed daily, the brain will change and adapt to it. So an abrupt change will make the user very sick.

I wish the presenters had more enthusiasm. I was wondering if I was bothering them for information about forty minutes into the lecture. Maybe I need to do my own research because I hate hearing so many bullet points. I would recommend anyone to read the transcript. The voices are boring, drone on and on with very hand wavy sentiments, and throughout every speech lacks passion. I think there is a lot of room for improvement. Maybe have someone else read the experts speech notes. Maybe pay them more, but this was informative. So, at least you will be sent to sleep quite early.

This is obviously how the brain works on some level. Somehow personality is involved, and it breaks down into letters. Personalities can be described according to archetypes. The existence of cross talk and communication across both sides of the brain refutes most of the points in this video.

this a good question. i dont have a lot of anwers , but i kknow that diabetes affects almost everything in your body. it also can affect your brain! it’s very hard withstanding diabetes and effects of it. it can make you go blind, yoummight lose a limb or two, your hearing, your insides, everything. it’s not something i want, i almost died in a coma just from diabetes. i had low blood sugar as a child and got gestational diabetes in1982. then it came back in 1994, and stayed. i am 66 now and got much worse when i was65 ! nofun living like this and that’s the truth! i wish you happiness.

When it set in for me, or when it it first started getting way worse(noticable), I had been drinking tons if water all the time and peeing so much it was annoying, literally every 5 or 10 mins I'd have to go pee so bad, I was super tired and would come home from work and just crash for hours, which was unusual, and I'd apperently always be eating something, and my sight was getting blurry which is something I was gunna go to the doctors about, my step father is diabetic and my mom can tell his sugar is high from smelling his breath and ig she got a whiff if mine while talking and she wanted to test me, machine said high so she took me to the hospital and they did blood work and it was 813, or thereabouts, and my A1c was 12.4 and I apperently had to much acid in my blood or sum, but yea type 1 diabetes, lol, but no pain when it starts, but when my sugar gets low or super high I feel funny, it being high is odd to describe, just off, different, and when it's low you feel tired and jittery and I can get the shakes in my hands too, and there's a word I'm trying to think if that's more encompassing but my brain is failing me right now. Also I had thought all those were unrelated, then I seen a symptoms sheet for diabetes at the hospital and was like oh I got all the boxes checked

Daddy had a stroke almost 11 years ago. On February 26th, 2013, Daddy was at work. He had to give a big presentation. When his co-workers wondered why he wasn't coming into the meeting room, they just assumed that he was just nervous about the big presentation. Just then, a lady screamed. Everyone came running. They found Daddy slumped over. His boss called 911. A whole lotta police officers, firefighters, and paramedics, came in and took Daddy to the hospital. Daddy's stroke left the whole family devastated. He is still bedridden to this day. He is currently staying in a nursing home.
